Rambler 130

A gaggle of pate makers are holding a seminar in Livermore, CA.

Who would always cover them with tubs
He would go around the edges

The Secretary of Education has never taught in a classroom. His predecessor also never taught in a classroom and produced the “No Child Left Behind Program.” Is it any wonder why our schools are a mess? Imagine the head of a surgery department at a major medical school who had never done an operation establishing the teaching programs for surgery.

  1. When the President begins to appoint his cabinet I it seems like the last thing they are looking for is someone who knows what they are doing.

  2. He did put a secretary of energy in that was a noble prize winner in physics. I am always stunned when someone who hasn't taught tells me how my classroom should run, and the current trend is to have superintendents who haven't ever taught. What message does it send when the president doesn't think enough of teachers to include them in the process of fixing the schools...
