Rambler 161

In a retirement village in Northern Florida, retirees would get together once a week to play poker.

One of the group would pretend to stick his chips into the pot and would pull them back. This went on for quite a while.

During one of those nights, the cheater won big and was accosted by two men in masks when he left the game. They took all of his money and redistributed it to the other players.

When asked about this crime, the police said it was definitely a case of village ante justice.

All of the political campaign contributions remind me of a song in the 60's, "Leader of the PAC."

There once was a collector of maps
Always trying to fill his set’s gaps
He would never part
With any new chart
Here we sit with maps in our laps

  1. I keep hoping my career will escalate as I climb the corporate ladder; however it has started a down only trend.
