Rambler 124

Residents of Havelock, NC, believe in the open door policy.

My request to change my major to geology was stonewalled.

I remember not too many years ago that many cities were removing railroad tracks. Now they are putting them back in at many times the cost. I think some governments need training wheels.

There once was a man from Spain
Of his hair he was quite vain
He could never pass
A piece of glass
Without looking at his mane

So far, Wall Street Reform has been all Lipper Service.

We are going through a major recession in which the government is spending money we don’t have so we can have money they can have. There must be some logic there.

Here in North Carolina, geneticists have crossed a flowering plant with a fish resulting in a crappie myrtle.

I am looking for a new slant for writing the Rambler. I may have to consider italics.

I would take up mountain climbing if I were so inclined.

  1. I think you made a mistake in your blog. You mentioned government spending in the same paragraph with logic and I can't see where the two belong together. (Ha). Good blog as usually. You never cease to amaze me with your play on words.
