The writers’ strike is over and a new contract is about to be signed. What about ghost writers? Or do they have to appear for the signing?

With the current deficits, all hopes of repairing the infrastructure have gone down the sewer. Maybe!

The novel 1984 was close in its predictions. That sci-fi novel had the government giving us mind altering drugs for government control. In 2008, we are taking mind altering drugs because of a lack of governmental control. (I think part of this statement is serious, but I’m not sure(Big Brother is listening)).

Question: are most government buildings leased, I think Post Office Buildings are? If so, is it so taxes can be imposed on the properties? We end up paying the taxes on the buildings that provide the services for which we also pay. Also, the buildings are never paid off. This gives new meaning to a new lease on life (ours).

Pandermic has been identified as the next major fast spreading mental health problem originating in the U.S.A. The only known cure is tongue in cheek (or tongue in check).

I thought after Enron and some other scandals that there was to be an emphasis teaching ethics to college students. Recent sub-prime problems indicate that either it wasn’t taught, or the teaching didn’t take. These cyclical money scandals are becoming larger and more dangerous with each iteration. The guilty keep dropping off in their golden parachutes while those of us left behind watch our net worth drop..

Surgeon General said that a new book on the digestive system is being written by Ernie Bile-a WWII reporter. He also claimed there is a strong correlation between today’s blood pressure problems and all the grains of salt we are ingesting because of political statements.

It appears that the border fence has come limping to a halt. Is this erector dysfunction?

Concentrated control of television and radio cause me to be concerned about the neutrality of the news and view being provided. Certain items from candidates’ pasts are not being publicized. When they give their backing to someone or certain legislation, is it real or is it biased to get the outcome the owners are looking for? How do we ensure facts Vs propaganda with the monopolies? A good example is Iraq. There are good things happening there that never get coverage.
