Rambler 3

I am sure glad that so much time can be spent by politicians on steroids when they cannot assure us that the food and drugs we are receiving are safe. I would guess that more Americans die every year of food supplements (which are not regulated) than from steroids. Why aren’t pharmaceutical companies held accountable for pushing drugs? Many of the drugs have doubtful results (once the studies are removed that were paid for by the company) but result in millions of prescriptions and billions of dollars (medical costs). The standard for cholesterol keeps being set lower when there are few studies showing cholesterol to be the culprit in heart attacks. It is present, but is it the cause of the irritation? Or am I thinking of hemorrhoids?

A new jazz ensemble is being formed to provide music for the two houses: Felonious Monks.

Since we are outsourcing everything why not prisons? Prisons in other countries are cheaper and harsher. Outsourcing may be a deterrent to recidivism. If not, at least it’s cheaper.

Should NAFTA be changed to SHAFTA until we get equal treatment? For the middle class there is a definite before NAFTA. Say the last 3 words quickly to get the effect.

With most people trust must be earned. With politicians, I say gravely, trust must be urned.

We have a plethora of incompetents in the House and the Senate. Each day is like opening Plethora’s Pox. Should we keep the immigrants and ship out the current politicians? It may be cheaper.

A new book by one of Hillary’s campaign managers: Gullibles Travels.

Will keep trying this until I run out of stuff or until you tire of reading. I am convinced that Will Rogers was correct when he said something to the effect that there is plenty of humor in politics.
