Global warming appears to have occurred before. The Piri Re’is maps, dating back to 1513 or before, show the mountain ranges and river beds at the South Pole with an accuracy that was not possible until 1735 (navigational tools), and also not possible because they were also under 1 mile of ice. This would indicate that global warming (or a polar shift) resulted in a prior melting of all the ice at the pole. I don’t how to tell Al Gore-we didn’t do it that time. Or maybe we did since the maps are in such detail that they indicate an advanced civilization in the past.

One of my children recently completed his degree to teach English in H.S. He could not get his degree until he completed 2 years of a foreign language. Meanwhile, students with English as a second language cannot be flunked. Either the university did not teach or learn ethics and was protecting its revenue stream in the languages department, or I wouldn’t recommend taking their logic course.

In the 60’s and 70’s there were big scandals over Payola to DJ’s to boost the sales of certain songs. Today it’s PAC’s to ensure elected officials’ are in tune. Guess it should be called Pacola.
I am trying to implement a measurement standard. Faraday developed one for magnetism. I propose a laffaday.
Perspective-realizing you graduated from an institution that has been in existence for 200 years and that 20% of that time has passed since your graduation.
