Rambler 50

Italy: Because of the economic downturn, the Pisa Tower Tourist Bureau is preparing for some lean times.

I am constantly remembering things I rote.

Companies overlook the long term impact of customer service (or lack thereof). In the 1970’s I ordered some music LP’s from Time-Life. After satisfying their purchase requirements I cancelled membership (after fighting with them by mail for months). Thirty + years have elapsed since that encounter during which I have purchased many: movies, music CD’s and books-none of which have come from Time-Life. I would be willing to bet they use the same approach today.

Because of the plant fire, the alabaster workers in Florence, Italy, were out of work. They had lost all of their marbles. (Geological license used since alabaster is a form of gypsum.)

Having attended Catholic Schools, I am convinced nunchuks were developed within that school system. Some of the nuns could chuck an eraser 70 feet and nail the guilty party right between the eyes. Many could have easily have made the pros as pitchers. (I have a permanent chalk mark between the eyes-fortunately it is buried by a wrinkle)

The Robinson-Patman Act requires small customers to be treated the same as large customers. Can we file a suite against Congress seeking the same treatment that they provide lobbyists?

Does the Hubble Telescope have contract lenses?

I have had colon surgery twice. The first time I became a semicolon (resulting in changes in my use of the English Language); the second time I became an abdominal no man.

Do pollsters hibernate between elections?

A new hedge fund specializing in companies that manufacture the back halves of ships was announced by Bare Stearns.

Metaphor-was looking for a ten.

The feuding knife manufacturers are planning to bury the hatchet in Bad Axe, MI.

My days are numbered-look at the calendar.
