Rambler 28

It has been a while since I tried this. I may get one more written before we head to FL for our son-in-law’s retirement party. I had to take a dose of myquill after not writing one for a number of months. As previously stated, I will misuse words or make up words wherever I care to.

We try to emphasize good sportsmanship to our kids only to have this effort negated by political ads.

I am looking for a reputable plastic sturgeon to replace the pink flamingo in my front lawn.

Cyclotrons are an example of faith. Billions are spent on a piece of equipment that will supposedly accelerate particles we cannot see to the speed of light (which we cannot comprehend) to get results we have to take their word for.

How many times should the government (we the taxpayer) pay to rebuild communities destined to be ruined at regular intervals by the same events? Is it time to have insurance costs borne by the people/companies who wish to live/operate in these high risk locales? Or is it time to consider relocating some of these cities? To paraphrase: insanity is continuing the same failed approach while expecting some other outcome.

Recent archeological discoveries indicate that Cro Mignon Man was the first with steak houses.
